Differentiation

Extension

Challenge learners to program their self-introduction in both English and te reo Māori, or expand the content of the introduction to include information beyond a standard pepeha.

About Activity

This session familiarises learners with the print function and use of variables in the Python programming language, to program and display information that is personal and relevant to them.

Ākonga will first program their pepeha line by line and use the print command to display their introduction on the screen. Then, they will have a go at using a variable to simplify the print command by assigning and storing their information in a variable.
