About Activity
This programming activity guides learners to become digital storytellers by creating a digital storybook in ScratchJr.
Digital stories bring together skills in research, literacy and oratory, critical thinking, communication and more to organise ideas and manage digital content in the production of a multimedia project that helps share information as imaginative, impactful narratives.
Learners will consider elements of a story, choose a story to retell or craft an original, plan the details and flow of the story, then bring the story to life by painting and programming in ScratchJr.
Use the guide below as a template project that can apply to any relevant theme or existing story that suits your teaching plan or that resonates with your learners.
