About Activity
This session has ākonga to use the Scratch Jr interface to create a sprite character that represents themselves, combining the graphic sprite image with a real ‘selfie’ digital photo of their face.
Students will create an avatar of themselves and code it to present a self-introduction in response to simple questions about themselves, including in te reo Māori.
