Diwali

Also called the ‘Festival of Lights’, Diwali is a major celebration in India and around the world. The five-day festival symbolises the victory of good over evil, of light over darkness and of knowledge over ignorance. Get amongst the activities below to incorporate digital technologies education into your celebration of Diwali this year!

  • Using a Sorting Network (Unplugged)

    Unplugged activity to think like a computer to arrange the five days of the Festival of Lights in order using a sorting network diagram.

  • Digital Storybooks (ScratchJr)

    Scratch Jr activity to create a digital storybook, to tell a story related to Diwali through programming and multimedia.

    Tinkercad programming and 3D design activity to create a rangoli pattern, coding with variables and loops celebrating Diwali!
