About Activity
This play-based activity is designed to help learners gain skills and experience with digital technologies by practising basic programming through an iterative process to direct Sphero bots.
Learners will set up a group of target objects, like bowling pins, and aim to guide their Sphero towards them down by coding a program that controls direction, speed and timing. They will do their best to knock down as many objects as they can and collect points for each ‘pin’ they topple. Learners will have fun while working to refine and improve their programs after each attempt, or iteration.
