About Activity

This play-based activity is designed to help learners gain skills and experience with digital technologies by practising basic programming through an iterative process to direct Sphero bots.

Learners will create a target area and aim to navigate their Sphero towards the centre by coding a program that controls direction, speed and timing. They will do their best to guide their bot as close to the centre as they can and collect points based on the accuracy of their position. Learners will have fun while working to refine and improve their programs after each attempt, or iteration.
